Welcome to my spice website!
Traveling is amazing! Getting to experience different places and cultures is one of the best things ever! Especially trying the amazing food from all over! However traveling can be very expensive and time-consuming. This is why our founder, Andrew Rubin, started State Street Spices. We are a spice company based in Chesterfield, Missouri. Our spices are crafted from the inspiration of famous and amazing flavors from across the country. We use in-depth research to come up with the best possible recipe of each spice which is unlike any other spices on the market. This is all done while using the highest quality ingredients possible. Our core values are authenticity, community, hope, joy, passion, and togetherness. Our mission is to incorporate flavor and culture to bring the world together. My spices currently are:

Meet the Owner
Meet Andrew Rubin, the ambitious founder and owner of State Street Spices. With a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship, Andrew has actively honed his business acumen through past involvement in his high school's entrepreneurship incubator program. Building on this foundation, he is eager to continue his entrepreneurial journey and will be participating in the Griggs Innovators Nexus program at the University of Missouri starting in the fall. This new venture will provide him with valuable resources and mentorship to further develop State Street Spices.
Andrew's past dedication to the world of business is evident through his significant involvement in DECA. As a former Chapter President, he demonstrated strong leadership by creating engaging lessons on business concepts and successfully growing chapter membership. His skills were notably recognized at the Missouri DECA State Career Development Conference in March 2025, where he achieved first place in the Food Marketing Series. Furthermore, his potential for leadership within the organization was acknowledged when he was a finalist for Missouri DECA’s Vice President of Community Service.
Andrew also previously served as the Chapter Vice President of the National Business Honors Society. In this role, he took initiative in leading meetings for fellow business students, organizing valuable business workshops, and spearheading community service projects, showcasing his ability to guide and motivate his peers in the pursuit of business knowledge and social responsibility.
Andrew's leadership abilities have also been recognized beyond school organizations. He was honored with the prestigious Hugh O'Brian Leadership (HOBY) Award, a national recognition given to high school students demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities. Additionally, his entrepreneurial promise was further validated when he was awarded the Progress 64 Scholarship, a St. Louis area scholarship celebrating his innovative business plan for State Street Spices.
Andrew's inspiration for State Street Spices is rooted in his deep appreciation for travel and diverse culinary experiences. His firsthand exploration of regional cuisines across the country sparked the vision to bring those authentic flavors to home cooks.
Looking ahead, Andrew is excited to begin his studies at the University of Missouri in the fall and leverage the opportunities presented by the Griggs Innovators Nexus to further develop State Street Spices.

We are incredibly proud to allocate a significant portion of our success – a full ten percent of our profits – directly towards bringing moments of joy and normalcy to children undergoing treatment in hospitals. Our contribution takes the tangible form of purchasing games and entertainment for these young patients. Furthermore, our commitment extends beyond this consistent percentage. Several times throughout the year, we organize special "sales" events with the specific goal of amplifying our fundraising efforts for these vital donations.
This initiative stems from a profound belief that no child facing the challenges of illness should be solely preoccupied with upcoming medical procedures or the next round of medication. We want to offer a welcome distraction, a chance for these brave kids to simply be kids, even within the often-sterile environment of a hospital. By ensuring that these facilities have a steady supply of new and engaging games, we hope to provide a much-needed outlet for fun, laughter, and a temporary escape from the worries of their health journey.
This cause holds particular significance for our founder, Andrew Rubin. Having spent a considerable amount of time in and out of hospitals during his own childhood, he intimately understands the often-monotonous and isolating experience. He vividly recalls how the lack of engaging activities amplified the focus on his illness and the anticipation of the next medical intervention. This personal experience has instilled in him a deep-seated belief in the power of businesses to be a force for good within their communities. It is this conviction that inspired him to establish this philanthropic program as an integral part of State Street Spices from its inception.
